Joseph Fernando Pereira

Joseph Fernando Pereira, 42 of Fall River, husband of Isaura (Benevides) Pereira passed away unexpectedly on September 2, 2025.

    Born and raised in Fall River, he was the son of Teresa Correia and the late Jose Maria Pereira.

    A dedicated and hardworking man with an infectious smile, Joey was the proud owner of J. Pereira Home Improvement, a carpentry company. Joey learned his trade by his Godfather who he loved dearly. He was a parishioner of Santo Christo Church. Above all he was the best father to his children. They were the center of his life and the fullness to his heart and he cherished every moment spent with them, especially Monday fishing where his son caught his first fish.

    In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his beloved children, Dylan and Arielle Pereira; his sisters, Sandy Pavao and Elizabeth Pereira; and several nieces and nephews.

    Funeral arrangements, entrusted to the Oliveira Funeral Home will be held privately for the family.
