Joseph J. Ventura, Jr.

Joseph J. Ventura, Jr., 46, of Dartmouth, MA, formerly of Lawton St., Fall River, co-owner for many years of Ventura's Meat Outlet in Fall River, died Monday at home unexpectedly. He was the husband of Pamela (Bertrand) Ventura.

Born in Fall River, MA, a son of Joseph J. Ventura, Sr. and Dolores (Furtado) Ventura of Fall River; he lived in Dartmouth for the past 4 years.

Joseph was an avid Patriots fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved his Harley Motorcycle.

Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by a son, Joseph J. Ventura, III (Wife Nicky) of Fall River; a daughter, Amanda L. Rocha (Husband Derek) of Fall River; three sisters, Jackie Crawford and Debra Casper, both of Fall River and Brenda Denny of Westport, MA; two grandchildren, Jayden and Joshua; aunts and uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Sunday evening at 8 p.m. in the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St. Cremation to follow. Calling hours Sunday prior to service from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231-9986.
