Juan J. Torres

FALL RIVER… Juan J. Torres, 67, of Fall River passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Charlton Memorial Hospital, in Fall River.

He was the former partner of Migdalia Reyes.

Born in Manhattan, New York City, New York, he was a son of Pedro Deleon Rivera and the late Filomena Torres.

Juan spent his early career as a welder in Manhattan. He enjoyed hanging out with his brother and was a loving father, who adored spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his children: Juan Torres, Miguel Torres, Iris Torres, Jose Reyes, Javier Reyes, Luis Torres, and Jessica Torres; his siblings: Edwin Torres, Jose Deleon, and Lourdes Deleon; 22 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mario Torres.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2023, from 9:00 – 11:00 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home – South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main St. Fall River, MA followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
