Leo Paul Boutin, 85, of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family.

    He was the widower of the late Marilyn (Leduc) Boutin.

    Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Edward and Jeanne (Methot) Boutin.

    A veteran of the United States Army National Guard, Leo worked at the Fall River Water Department as an operator and for the majority of his career as a custodian for the Fall River School Department retiring from Belisle School in 2002. In his personal time, he enjoyed trips to the casino and was always busy with projects around the house. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.

    Leo is survived by his children, Leo P. Boutin, Jr. of Fall River wife Diane and Peter P. Boutin of Acushnet wife Darlene; his grandchildren, Evan, Nathan, Maxx, and Abigail; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Anita Vaughan, Rudolph Boutin, Roger Boutin, Theresa Frederick, Jacqueline Doelher.

    A visitation will be held Friday, September 5, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Oliveira Funeral Home, South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main St. in Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Good Shepherd Parish at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
