Leroy Wordell

Leroy Alan Wordell, age 79, of Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away on October 9th, 2026 at St. Anne's Hospital.

    He was the beloved husband of the late Shirley (Marshall) Wordell.

    Born in Taunton, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late John Wordell and the late Lottie Evelyn Wordell.

    Leroy spent his career working in distribution as a factory worker. A dedicated family man, his greatest joy was his family, and he lovingly raised some of his grandchildren as his own kids.

    He is survived by his children, Shirley Mills, Edward “Butch” Andrade, Marion "Sissy" Ferreira, William Westgate, Daniel Wordell, and Edward Andrade Jr. as well as several siblings, many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Henry "Hank" Andrade and his stillborn baby girl "Bonnie".
