Lisa Marie (DeMello) DaCosta

FALL RIVER… Lisa Marie (DeMello) DaCosta, 47, of Fall River, passed away Saturday, July 15th, 2023, at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, in Providence, RI.

She was the loving wife of Gil DaCosta.

Born in Newport, RI, she was a daughter of Linda (Young) DeMello and the late George DeMello.

Lisa was a homemaker and was dedicated to taking care of her family and spending time with her children.

Along with her husband and mother, survivors include her children: Raven DaCosta and Alexander DaCosta, both of Fall River; her sisters: Raynette DeMello, of Fall River, and Crystal DeMello, of North Carolina; her foster brother: Joseph Gould, of St. Augustine, FL; her foster father: Joseph Gould, of Williston, FL; four nieces and one nephew.

Her funeral will be held Sunday, July 23, 2023, at 1:00 PM from the Oliveira Funeral Home – South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main St. Fall River, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, in the funeral home. A visitation will be held Saturday afternoon from 3 – 6 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lisa’s name to a charity that serves the interest of those with autism
