Loretta P. Bouchard

Loretta P. Bouchard, age 87, of Tiverton, Rhode Island, passed away on August 28, 2026.

    She was the beloved wife of Albert Bouchard.

    Born in Bristol, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of Louis Viveiros and Maria (Bragantine) Viveiros.

    Loretta spent her career working as a hotel housekeeper for the Hampton Inn. She was a deeply religious woman and a dedicated member of Holy Ghost Church, who proudly displayed the Holy Ghost in her home. Her grandchildren were her life, and she cherished the time she spent cooking for her family, hosting holiday gatherings, and praying novenas.

    She is survived by her children, Renay Bouchard, Kevin Bouchard, Mark Bouchard, and Karen Rapoza and her husband Ronald; her grandchildren Kevin Bouchard, Amanda Moniz, Makenzie Raymond, Jared Rapoza, and Alyssa Haines; her great grandchildren Nathan Bouchard, Preston Moniz, Mya Moniz, and Hazel Haines; several nieces and nephews.

    Her visitation will be held Wednesday, September 2nd from 5 to 7 PM at the Oliveira Funeral Home - South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main St. in Fall River.

    Her funeral will be held Thursday, September 3rd at 9:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Holy Ghost Church in Tiverton, followed by interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
