Luciana C. Cruz

FALL RIVER… Luciana C. Cruz, 100, of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at home, surrounded by her family.

She was the widow of the late Jose Alves Pires.

Born in Prados Celorico da Beira, Portugal, she was a daughter of the late Jose da Cruz and Maria Filomena.

She was a loving mother, who enjoyed crocheting and loved flowers, especially white roses.

Luciana is survived by her children: Antonio Pires, Joaquina Coelho, Nuno Pires, Maria Gomes, and Filipe Pires; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Friday, December 30, 2022, from 9 – 11:00 AM, at the Oliveira Funeral Home – South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 11:00AM. Burial to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
