Lucy Rebello

FALL RIVER… Lucy Rebello, 71, of Fall River passed away August 1, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital, in New Bedford.

Born in St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Serafim Couto and Maria M. Couto.

Prior to retiring, Lucy was the co-owner of Rainbow Vertical Blinds. She was a parishioner of Santo Christo Church and enjoyed shopping, cooking, and most of all, spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children: Paul Rebello (wife Sonia) and Elizabeth Silva (husband Jamie), both of Somerset; her siblings: John Couto, Manuel Couto, Maria Jose Da Costa, Maria Pereira, Joe Couto, and Floriano Couto; her grandchildren: Ryder Rebello, Tyler Rebello, and Hannah Harden; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Serafim Couto.

Her funeral will be held Friday, August 5, at 8:00 AM, from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM at Santo Christo Church, Columbia St., Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Thursday night, from 5 – 7 PM.
