Lynn was a remarkably artistic and creative woman, as well as an amazing mother, stepmother, Grammy, and Aunty. She loved to cook and feed everyone, and her kitchen was a favorite destination for all who knew her.
She adored babies and children and possessed a natural gift for connecting with them. Her happiest moments were spent during weekend visits with her two granddaughters. Lynn dedicated all her attention and love to her girls during these times, teaching them and singing sitcom theme songs until they had them memorized. By just three and four years old, the girls would proudly perform them. Lynn was an inherently giving person who always went the extra mile, frequently choosing unique, customized gifts to show friends and family how much she cared.
Though she bravely managed numerous health struggles throughout most of her adult life, Lynn defied the odds in April 2022. After battling a severe lung infection, doctors did not expect her to survive. She was placed in an induced coma on Good Friday, but by Easter Sunday, she miraculously fought off the infection and awoke. Lynn spent her remaining years at home, oxygen-dependent and bedridden with stage 4 COPD, where she was lovingly cared for by her devoted son. She will never be forgotten.
Lynn is survived by her son, Jett Rancourt; her granddaughters, Jaelyn Rancourt and Shyla Aguiar; her stepchildren, Kiesha Aguiar, Paul Lee Aguiar, and Paco Aguiar; and her siblings, Jill Emond, Dawn Camara, Neal Rancourt, Judy Aguiar, and Ann Marie Mercier. She also leaves behind her universally adored family dog, Reginald Ricky Rancourt, and many more relatives and friends to whom she was incredibly special.
