Madeline M. (Viveiros) Rosyski, 67, of Somerset, died Friday at home. She was the wife of Stanley J. Rosyski.
Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Freitas) Viveiros; she lived in Somerset for over 30 years and was a communicant of St. John of God Church. She was a member of the Liberal Club.
She worked as a deli clerk for several years at Stop & Shop in Somerset. She previously worked for Raytheon in Norwood in the Data Systems and Submarine Signal Division. Madeline enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, dining out, shopping and being a nail technician.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Stacy Rosyski of Somerset; a son, Stanley Rosyski of Assonet; two brothers, Richard Viveiros (wife Rita) of Fall River and Michael Viveiros and her brother-in-law Daniel Sullivan of Fall River; three grandchildren, Kyra Rosyski, Miranda Rosyski and Maxx Rosyski; a niece, Ashley Cordeiro; several great-nieces and nephews and godchildren.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 7:45 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. John of God Church, Brayton Ave., Somerset. Committal prayers and interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
