Manuel E. Andrade

Manuel E. Andrade, 63, of Fall River, MA, passed away on November 13, 2025, at St. Anne’s Hospital.

    Born in Rabo de Peixe, St. Michael, Azores on May 25, 1962, he was the son of the late Manuel Andrade and the late Maria Evelina (Vieira) Andrade.

    Manuel was a retired Machine Operator, having worked for many years at the former American Dryer, now Whirlpool. He was an avid fan of soccer and passionately cheered for his favorite team, Benfica. He also loved fishing and spending time outdoors.

    He is survived by his sons, Scott Andrade and Danny Andrade, both of Fall River; his siblings, Maria C. Cabral (husband Jose) of Fall River, Jose Andrade (wife Charlotte) of Fall River, and Leonardo Andrade (wife Cecilia) of Somerset; two grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

    Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 18, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia Street, Fall River, MA 02721.

    His funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 19, beginning at 9:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Espirito Santo Church, Alden St. Interment will take place at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
