Manuel Couto

Manuel Couto, 78, of Fall River, passed away December 3, 2024, at home, surrounded by his family.

    He was the loving husband of Delores Couto.

    Born in Arrifes, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Serafin Correia Da Couto and Maria Do Rosario De Couto.

    Manuel worked as a dedicated baker who had a true passion for his craft, often working seven days a week to ensure his community enjoyed the finest baked goods. He took great pride in his work, pouring love and care into every loaf. Above all, Manuel cherished his family, especially his beloved wife, whose support and love were a constant source of strength throughout his life. His commitment to both his family and his work will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

    Along with his wife, he is survived by his children Dawn Couto and Richard Couto; his siblings John Couto, Maria Jose Da Costa, Rosarinha Pereira, Joe Couto, and Floriano Couto; his grandchildren Hailey Cambra (Nathan Costa) and Chloe Cambra; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Serafin Couto and Lucy Rebello.
