Manuel Oliveira, Jr.

Manuel Oliveira, Jr., 69, of O'Neil Road, Somerset, formerly of Hope St., Fall River, passed away Thursday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Laura (Mello) Oliveira.

Born in Santa Barbara, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Manuel and Angelina (Pavao) Oliveira; he resided in Somerset for the past 32 years. Mr. Oliveira had worked for Outerlimits Offshore Power Boats in Bristol RI, retiring in 2008.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Shawn E. Oliveira of Somerset, MA; two brothers, Joseph Oliveira of Somerset, MA and Amos Oliveira of Carver, MA; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Messias Oliveira and Joao De Oliveira, Sr.

Funeral and Burial will be private. Calling hours Sunday 6 - 8 p.m. Arrangements are by the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St.
