Maria A. (Medeiros) Silva

FALL RIVER… Maria A. (Medeiros) Silva, 74, of Fall River, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, in Fall River.

She was the widow of the late Jose J. DaSilva.

Born in St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Joao Mota and Maria Santa (Mota).

Prior to retiring, Maria worked for the majority of her career as a house cleaner. She was a very active parishioner of Santo Christo Church and was a member of the Santo Christo Choir and Santo Christo Holy Rosary Sodality.

She is survived by her sons: Joe DaSilva (Marilyn Cabral), of Seekonk, and Victor DaSilva (Debbie Rafael), of Fall River; her sisters: Conceicao Ferreira, of Portugal, and Ilda Jorge, of Somerset; her granddaughters: Victoria, Sofia, and Laela; several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral services were private.
