Maria dos Anjos Brum

Maria dos Anjos (Costa) Brum, 93, of Fall River, a retired garment worker, died Friday at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Virginio Brum.
Born in Lagoa, St. Michael Azores, she was a daughter of the late Joao da Costa Furtado and Carolina Coelho; she emigrated to this country in 1963 and was a member of Santo Christo Church. Mrs. Brum worked as a trimmer for many years in the local garment industry.
She is survived by two daughters, Bertha Moura of Fall River and Cecilia Lopes (husband Jeremias) of Taunton; a son, Frank Brum (wife Mary) of Berkley, MA, six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 8 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 5-8 p.m.
