Maria da Conceicao Camara

Maria da Conceicao (Amaral) Camara, 91, of Catholic Memorial Home, 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River, a homemaker, died Saturday at the home. She was the wife of the late Vincent Camara.

Born in S. Vicente Ferreira, S. Miguel, Acores, she was a daughter of the late Jose Do Rego Amaral Jr. and Maria da Conceicao Viveiros Amaral; she emigrated to this country on Nov. 4, 1958 and was a member of Santo Christo Church.

She is survived by two sons, Augustine Camara (wife Mariana) of Westport, MA and John Camara (wife Mary) of Westport, MA; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff of Catholic Memorial Home, Unit 6, for their outstanding care during her stay.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours Tuesday 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Catholic Memorial Home, 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River, MA 02720.
