Maria Isabel Henriques

Maria Isabel (Carvalho) Henriques, 79, of Fall River, a machine operator, died Thursday at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Antonio Nunes Henriques.

Born in Lisbon, Portugal, she was a daughter of the late Jose and Lucilia (Dos Santos) Carvalho; she lived in this city since 1974 and worked as a machine operator for many years at the former Bristol Knitting Mills. She was a member of Santo Christo Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Maria Antonio (Husband Jose) of Fall River and Fernanda C. Goncalves (Husband Paulo) of Fall River; a sister, Maria Irene Amaro of Portugal; four brothers, Antonio Dos Santos, Jose M. Dos Santos, Armando Dos Santos and Adelino Dos Santos, all of Portugal; five grandchildren; a great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 8 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 4 - 8 p.m.
