Maria G. Lima

NEW BEDFORD - Maria G. (Silva) Lima, 91, of New Bedford, a homemaker, died Saturday, June 10th at Brandon Woods of New Bedford.
Born in Furnas, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Isabel (Moniz) Silva; she emigrated to this country in 1966 and lived in New Bedford and Fall River. She was a member of Santo Christo Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Isabel Morgado and her husband Tony of Hampton Falls, NH, Paulina Lima of Hampton, NH, Maria G. Sousa of E. Freetown, MA and Nancy Rezendes and her husband Gary of New Bedford; two sons, Carlos Lima and his wife Deborah of Wareham, MA and Daniel de Lima and his wife Christina of New Bedford; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late John Lima.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, June 14th at 8:30 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia Street, Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Santo Christo Church, Columbia Street, Fall River. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Robeson Street, Fall River.
