Maria dos Anjos Medeiros

FALL RIVER - Maria dos Anjos (Ventura) Medeiros, 93, of Catholic Memorial Home, 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River, died Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the home. She was the wife of the late Jose Jermias Medeiros.
Born in Rosario de Lagoa, St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Jose and Maria (Barbosa) Ventura; she emigrated to this country in 1969. Mrs. Medeiros worked as an inspector at Columbia Electronics.
She is survived by three step-daughters, Maria D. Aguiar of N. Dartmouth, MA, Maria Lucilia Cabral of Fall River and Maria Ines Pereira of Westport, MA; three step-sons, Jose J. Medeiros of Port St. Lucie, FL, Carlos Medeiros of Beaver Creek, OH and Joao Medeiros of So. Dartmouth, MA; several step-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 8 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Chapel of the Catholic Memorial Home, Highland Ave., Fall River. Interment in St. John's Cemetery, New Bedford. Visitation morning of funeral from 8-9:45 a.m.
