Mariette H. Bourdon

Mariette H. Bourdon, age 88, of Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away on September 22, 2026, at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

    Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Mathurim and Blanche (Charron) Bourdon.

    A lifelong resident of Fall River, Mariette spent her career working as a garment machine operator. She dedicated 33 years to Bristol Knitting Mills and later worked for 15 years at Northeast Knitting Mills. She was deeply connected to her faith and was a longtime parishioner of St. Anne's Church. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting and other crafts.

    She was preceded in death by her brother, Reginald A. Bourdon, originally from Fall River.

    She is survived by two nephews, Christopher Bourdon and his wife Kerry of San Francisco, CA, and Andrew Bourdon and his wife Stephanie of Livonia, MI; two great-nephews Gavin and Liam Bourdon and great-niece Sydney Bourdon; as well as several cousins and dear friends.

    Her visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct 1st, from 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM at Oliveira Funeral Home, South Main Street Chapel, 2064 South Main Street, Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
