Moses Rapoza

Moses Rapoza, age 91, of Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away on July 20, 2026.

    He was the beloved husband of Jeannine (Lavoie) Rapoza. The couple shared a marriage that spanned more than 66 years.

    Moses was born in Somerset, Massachusetts. He was the son of the late Frank Rapoza and Maria Rapoza.

    A proud veteran, Moses served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Following his service, he built a dedicated career as a business owner in the glass glazing industry, notably owning the former Global Glass. In his personal life, he was a passionate fan of Boston and New England sports teams. He also loved going for long rides with wife, going wherever the road would take them.

    He is survived by his wife, Jeannine, and his children, Brian Rapoza and Lisa Medas (husband Andrew). He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Deveny, Mallory, Amanda, Jocelyn, and Adam, and 10 great grandchildren. Moses was preceded in death by his son, Carl Rapoza, his grandson, Jarred, and his siblings, Lionel, Mary, Noel, and Frank.

    His Funeral Mass will will be held Wednesday at St. Bernard’s Church, Assonet, at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
