Noemia Rebello

Noemia (da Rosa) Rebello, 85, of 603 Middle St., a seamstress, died Sunday at Catholic Memorial Home. She was the wife of the late Antonio Rebelo.

Born in Capelas, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Manuel da Rosa and Maria da Estrela Pavao; she lived in this city since 1971. Mrs. Rebello worked as a seamstress for several years in the local garment industry. She was a member of Santo Christo Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Isabel Resendes of Fall River; three sons, Manuel A. Rebello and Duarte M. Rebello, both of Fall River and Joao Rebello of Assonet, MA; a sister; Maria Jose Soares of Taunton, MA; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Maria Neves Rosa.

Her funeral will be held Friday 8 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., with a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 6-8 p.m.
