Pamela Jane Pereira

Pamela Jane Pereira, age 63, of Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away on March 7, 2026.

    She was the widow of her first husband, Arthur Pereira Jr., and later the widow of Robert A. Whitehouse.

    Born in Putnam, Connecticut, Pamela was the daughter of the late Doris A. (Perry) LaHaie and Gilbert LaHaie.

    Pamela led a fulfilling professional life, having worked as a tax accountant and manager at Ocean State Job Lot. Outside of work, she had a vibrant and adventurous spirit with a love for driving her motorcycle and working on cars. She was also a devoted animal lover who cared for dogs, cats, and small animals. Above all, Pamela treasured the time spent with her loved ones, whether she was going on memorable family vacations or simply watching her six beautiful grandchildren grow.

    She is survived by her three children: Tonya Duquette and her husband Frank of Fall River, MA; Arthur Pereira III and his wife Jacqueline of Somerset, MA; and David Pereira of Fall River, MA. She will be deeply missed by her six beloved grandchildren: Kelsey Duquette, Jordan Duquette, Mackenzie Duquette, Lily-Ann Pereira, Paul Pereira, and Hailey Pereira. Pamela is also survived by her sisters: Michelle Marandola and her husband Douglas of Warwick, RI; Patricia LaHaie of Westport, MA; and Paula Macedo and her husband James of Somerset, MA; as well as 17 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, the late Michael LaHaie, who is survived by his wife Donna of Westport, MA.

    Her visitation will be held Thursday night, March 12, from 5 - 8 PM, at the Oliveira Funeral Home - South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main St, Fall River, MA 02724. Burial will be private.
