Patricia A. (LaPointe) Chace

NEW BEDFORD… Patricia “Mema” (LaPointe) Chace, 83, of New Bedford passed away June 21st, 2019 surrounded by her family at Whaler’s Cove Assisted Living.

She was a devoted wife of 55 years, to her husband Russell Chace.

Mrs. Chace was a dedicated homemaker, who was like a mother to everybody. She enjoyed participating in the Whaler’s Cove Chorus, playing bingo, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family.

Beside her husband, survivors include her daughters: Terre Valerio of Somerset and Debra Gifford of Swansea; her sons: Ken Chace of Dartmouth and Jeff Chace of Fairhaven; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Richard Roy.

At request of the family, services will be private.
