Paul Pereira

Paul Pereira, 36, of Swansea, died Saturday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the former husband of Diane Soares of Tiverton.

Born in Fall River, a son of Manuel and Ann (Machado) Pereira of Swansea., he resided most of his life in Swansea.

He was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, Class of 1994.

Mr. Pereira was a general contractor and owner and operator of P.M.J. Construction for several years. He was a member of the Masons Society.

Besides his former wife and parents, he is survived by a sister, Jessica Wilkerson (husband Joe) of Swansea; a nephew, Jason W. Wilkerson of Swansea; a godson, Jared Aguiar of Tiverton. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He leaves his girlfriend Hayley Welker of Swansea. He was the brother of the late Jason Pereira.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St. followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 am at St. Anne's Church. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Tuesday 5 - 8 p.m.
