FALL RIVER - Richard P. Rogers, 68, of Fall River, passed away Thursday, March 16th at St. Anne's Hospital.
Born in Fall River, MA, he was a son of the late Manuel C. and Yvette (LaPointe) Rodgers; he was a lifelong resident of Fall River. He was a U.S. Army disabled veteran, serving during the Vietnam Era. Mr. Rogers worked as a loom inspector for many years at the former Quaker Fabric.
He is survived by a son, Todd S. Rogers of Hamden, CT; two sisters, Aline Pontes of Somerset, MA and Patricia Feno of Westport, MA; a brother, Steven Rogers of Fall River; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Kenneth Rogers.
Calling hours for Mr. Rogers will be held Tuesday, March 28th from 6-8 p.m. in the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main Street, Fall River.
