Robert Lindo

Robert C. Lindo, 85, of Tiverton, peacefully passed away on August 13, 2024, at Sarah Brayton Nursing Center in Fall River.

    He was the beloved husband of Geraldine (Rua) Lindo, with whom he shared many wonderful years.

    Born in Fall River, Robert was the son of the late John C. Lindo and Mary V. (Viveiros) Lindo.

    Before his retirement, Robert dedicated much of his career to facilities maintenance at the Newport Historical Society. He also proudly served as a veteran of the Massachusetts Army National Guard. Robert had a passion for photography, traveling and treasured the moments spent with his wife.

    In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister Paula Medeiros (late husband Albert) and several loving nieces and nephews.

    Robert’s burial service at Notre Dame Cemetery will be private.
