Robert M. Medeiros

Robert M. Medeiros, 58, of Somerset, passed away March 28th, 2024, at Catholic Memorial Home, surrounded by his family.

    Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Joseph F. Medeiros, Jr. and Nellie Mae (Ferrell) Medeiros. 

    Prior to retiring, Robert spent most of his career as a steelworker at the Belcher Corporation, and later worked for Safelite Auto Glass. In his free time he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

    Robert is survived by his children Andrea Smith (spouse David) and Andrew Medeiros; his siblings Joseph Medeiros, Thomas Medeiros, Steven Medeiros, Alice Raposa, and Christopher Medeiros; his grandchildren Evan Smith, Jack Smith, Andrew Medeiros, and Bailey Smith; his former wife Laurie Vipon; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late David, Helen, and Michael Medeiros.

    His funeral will be held Friday, April 12, 2024, at the Oliveira Funeral Home - South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main St., at 10 AM, followed by funeral prayers at 11AM. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday night from 5 - 7 PM.
