Ronald Aguiar

Ronald George Aguiar, 63, of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Darlene (Gaspar) Aguiar.

    Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Antonio Aguiar and Estelle (Banville) Aguiar.

    Ronald enjoyed a long and celebrated career as an Executive Chef, sharing his culinary talents with many restaurants from Boston to Newport. Throughout his career, he helped open new restaurants and bars, rebrand existing establishments, and develop creative menus that reflected his passion for food and hospitality. His dedication, creativity, and leadership left a lasting impression on those he worked alongside.

    A true jack of all trades, Ronald's passions extended far beyond the kitchen. He was an accomplished drummer who loved making music, an avid Harley-Davidson rider, and a gifted mechanic who could often be found working on cars. He also felt a deep connection to the water and found peace spending time near it.

    Whether he was in the kitchen, behind a drum set, riding his Harley, or simply surrounded by family and friends, Ronald had a way of making every room brighter. His quick wit, infectious laugh, and larger-than-life personality made everyone feel welcome. He had a remarkable gift for making people laugh, lifting spirits, and helping others forget their troubles, even if only for a little while.

    In addition to his wife, Ronald is survived by his son, Daniel Aguiar and his wife, Danielle; his daughter, Veronica Aguiar; and his cherished grandchildren, Lealla, Arthur, August, and Ocean, who brought him endless pride and joy.

    His visitation will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 5 - 7 PM at the Oliveira Funeral Homes - South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main St, Fall River, MA 02724.
