Ronald Hipolito, 81, of Fall River, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025, at home surrounded by his family.
He was the loving husband of Emma “Connie” (Moniz) Hipolito.
Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Antone Hipolito and the late Rose (Leite) Hipolito.
Ronald dedicated most of his career as a social worker for the state of Massachusetts. He later retired from the Newport Navy Base. He held a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation from Assumption College and was a Vietnam era veteran of the Air Force. Ronald was a member of the Liberal Club and an avid reader. He had a deep appreciation for the arts, enjoying music and attending theater performances. He found joy in walks on the beach and, above all, cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Melissa Schneider and her husband Greg, and Jennifer Costa and her husband Rick. He is also survived by his siblings, Patricia Gaudern, Linda Fonseca, Edmund Hipolito, and Anna Cyr. He leaves behind his grandchildren, Joshua, Hannah, Benjamin, and William Schneider, and Tayla, Samuel, and Harrison Costa, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Hipolito.
Private arrangements are under the direction of the Oliveira Funeral Homes.
