Ronald J. Rioux

FALL RIVER… Ronald "Ronnie" Rioux, 69, of Fall River, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022, at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

He was the loving husband of Susan Rioux.

Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Elzear Rioux and Gerogiana Rioux.

Prior to retiring, Ronald worked as the Director of Operations for the Fall River Public Works Department. He was a faithful member of the Calvary Bible Church, in Westport, and enjoyed reading the Bible and studying scripture.

Along with his wife, Ronald is survived by his sons: Shawn K. Rioux (wife Dalia) and Jeremy Rioux (wife Michelle), both of Fall River; his brother Thomas Rioux; his sisters: Shirley Rioux, Carolyn Laflamme, Jeanne Medeiros, and Joan Sylvia; his grandchildren: Andrew Rioux, Ryan Rioux, and Kelly Batista; his great grandchildren: Mackenzie Batista, Mason Batista, Aiden Batista, and Abigail Batista; his mother-in-law Rita Jackson; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Oak Grove Cemetery, in Fall River. A funeral procession will depart from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St, Fall River, MA 02721 at 10:40 AM, to Oak Grove Cemetery.
