Rosa D. Mendonca

Rosa D. Mendonca, 62, of 45 Dover St., Fall River, died Wednesday at Massachusetts General Hospital. Born in Sao Jorge, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (da Silva) Mendonca; she lived most of her life in Fall River. She was a member of Santo Christo Church.

She is survived by a sister, Maria Gloria Soares of Fall River; a brother, John Carlos Mendonca (wife Jacqueline) of Fall River; a beloved uncle, John Da Silva (wife Natalia) of Fall River; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Maria Fatima Mendonca and Jose Luis Mendonca.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours Monday 5-8 p.m.
