Rosalina Maria Abarca, 64, of Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away at home, Feb. 18, 2026, surrounded by her family .

    She was the beloved wife of Armando Miguel Abarca.

    Born in the Azores, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Antonio V. Leite and Ines (Nascimento) Leite.

    Prior to her retirement, Rosalina was employed as a cashier in the retail industry. In her free time, she cultivated a life filled with simple joys and creativity. She was an avid reader and a talented crocheter who found relaxation in her crafts. Rosalina also possessed a deep love for fresh flowers, particularly the scent of roses, which she enjoyed for their beauty and fragrance.

    She is survived by her husband, Armando; her son, Nicholas Joseph Abarca; her sister, Maria “Grace” Leite; and her brothers, Joseph M. Leite and Antonio Leite. She also leaves behind her uncle, Germano Resendes; her aunt, Maria de Deus Resendes; her mother-in-law, Sandra Abarca; three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; as well as 12 nieces and nephews and 14 great-nieces and nephews, including TJ, Gino, Dafne, Ryan, Alex, Emily, Zachary, Mathew, Dougie, Sheridan, Chachette, and Carlos.

    Her visitation will be held Wednesday night, Feb. 25, from 5 - 8 PM, at the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St, Fall River, MA 02721. Burial will be private.
