Rose Marie Perry

Rose Marie (Ferreira) Perry, age 86, of Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away on June 20, 2026.

    She was the longtime companion of the late Navarro “Ray” Javier and former wife of the late Frank Perry.

    Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Manuel Ferreira and Mary (Mendonca) Proyck.

    Professionally, she worked as an Assistant Designer at the Navy Exchange in Newport. In her personal life, Rose was a loving mother and a devoted grandmother who took great pride in her home, being known as fastidious and very "house proud". She enjoyed crocheting, spending time in Newport with Ray, and sitting by the ocean.

    She is survived by her son, Michael W. Perry of Somerset; and her two daughters, Dawn Marie Morrell and her husband Timothy of Westport, and Christine Landry and her late husband David of Fall River. She also leaves behind two sisters, Dorothy Grocott and Anne Marie Medeiros. Additionally, she is survived by six grandchildren: Amanda Morrell Luciano, Michael Perry Jr., Ashley Morrell, Alexandra Morrell, Timothy Morrell Jr., and Alyssa Landry; one great-granddaughter, Jordyn Ashley Morrell; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Joseph Ferreira, Manuel Ferreira, and Catherine Terceira.

    Her visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24th, from 5 - 7 PM at Oliveira Funeral Home, South Main Street Chapel, 2064 South Main Street, Fall River.

    Her funeral will be held on Thursday, June 25th, at 9:00 AM from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church, Fall River. Interment will follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
