Rose Marie Tarvis

FALL RIVER - Rose Marie Tarvis, 75, of Tiverton, RI, died Thursday, February 23rd at St. Anne's Hospital. Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Souza) Tarvis; she lived in Tiverton for the past 50 years. She was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, class of 1960.
Ms. Tarvis worked as an assembler for many years at American Dryer. She was a communicant of Holy Ghost Church in Tiverton.
She is survived by a sister, Madeline do Couto and her husband Carlos A. of Tiverton, RI; a sister-in-law, Joyce Tarvis of Tiverton, RI; and three nieces and a nephew. She was the sister of the late Joseph Tarvis, Jr.
Her funeral will be held Monday, February 27th at 9 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main Street, Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Judson Street, Tiverton.
