Rosemarie R. Thibault

FALL RIVER - Rosemarie R. (Oliveira) Thibault, 77, of Fall River, a retired garment worker, died Thursday, September 22nd at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert Thibault and Henry DeMello.
Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Palmeda (Avilla) Oliveira; she lived in Fall River and Tiverton for most of her life. She was a communicant of Good Shepherd Parish. Mrs. Thibault was employed for many years as a floor lady at the former Rondo Knit Sportswear and A&A Mfg.
She was a member of the former ILGWU, now UNITE. She was a former member of the PA Fishing Club and St. John's Fishing Club.
She is survived by three daughters, Donna Marie Boynes and her husband Robert of Swansea, Cheryl Ann Lavoie and her husband Richard of Suffield, CT and Sandra Jean Mello and her husband Raymond of Fall River; two sons, Ronald H. DeMello and his wife Tina and Henry J. DeMello of Willington, CT; a sister, Madeline Medeiros of Swansea; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a special goddaughter, Debra Lavoie; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, September 29th at 9 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Good Shepherd Parish. Committal prayers and interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
