Sandra Marie Sousa

Sandra Marie Sousa, age 37, of Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away on August 27, 2025, at home surrounded by her family.

    Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of Manuel Sousa and Dina (Areias) Sousa

    After a courageous battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Sandra found redemption and new life in Jesus Christ.

    Her faith transformed her life, filling her with joy, peace, and a sense of purpose. Though her struggles were many, Sandra’s spirit remained unbroken, and her testimony inspires all who knew her. Sandra had a deep love for her friends and family, especially her children.

    Along with her parents, Sandra is survived by her children, Kaylin Sousa and Christian Sousa; her siblings, Nelson Rodrigues, Oscar Rodrigues, Alexandre Rodrigues, and Nicole Sousa; several nieces and nephews.

    A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 9 - 10:30 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia Street, Fall River.

    Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM at Santo Christo Church, Columbia Street, Fall River. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
