Susan Rioux

Susan Lee (Jackson) Rioux, born March 11, 1953, passed away May 16, 2026.

    She was the widow of the late Ronald Joseph Rioux.

    Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late John Marshall Jackson and Rita Jackson.

    Susan was the mother of Shawn and Jeremy Rioux. Susan is survived by siblings Barbara Costa, Cindy Mello, Linda D'Ambrosio and was sister to deceased Brother John K. Jackson. Susan was the grandmother of Ryan Rioux, Kelly Batista and Andrew Jackson Rioux. Susan also leaves behind several great grandchildren. Susan was loved by many nieces and nephews.

    In her latter years Susan suffered from many health ailments and was cared for by her loving husband Ronald. After the passing of Ronald, Susan was cared for at Mill Brook Nursing Home where she enjoyed the company of her sisters Barbara, Cindy, and her daughter in-law Michelle Rioux. They enjoyed drinking coffee and sharing conversation. Susan was an avid shopper and loved finding a good bargain. Susan also loved spending time caring for her cats.

    There will be a graveside service on May 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River, Massachusetts. All are welcome to attend. A funeral procession will depart from the Oliveira Funeral Homes - South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main St., Fall River, at 10:40 to Oak Grove Cemetery.
