Theresa Lorraine Medeiros

Theresa Lorraine (Harrison) Medeiros, affectionately known as "Terry," age 74, of Somerset, Massachusetts, passed away on August 19, 2026.

    She was the former spouse of John Medeiros.

    Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Dominique Harrison and Jeannette (Briand) St. Denis.

    Terry dedicated her career to early childhood education as a preschool teacher, notably working at the Little Red School in Somerset. A woman of deep faith, she was a member of the Somerset Grace Gospel Church. In her free time, she found great joy in playing acoustic guitar, gardening, flower arranging, and piecing together jigsaw puzzles, which she would beautifully frame. She was also a dedicated supporter of Friends of Israel for many years.

    Terry was also an organ donor, saving the lives of two men in their 60s and one man in his 40s.

    She is survived by her two sons, Mark Harrison Medeiros and his partner Margreta Rempert, and Lee Harrison; her granddaughter, Martina Rempert-Medeiros; her sister, Evelyn Charbonneau and her husband Jim; her brother, Ron Harrison and his wife Jan; as well as several nieces and nephews.

    Her visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Oliveira Funeral Home, South Main Street Chapel, 2064 South Main Street, Fall River.

    Funeral prayers will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
