Tony Medeiros Santos, age 47, of Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away surrounded by family on October 4th, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Tony was a source of light to everyone around him. Known for his kindness and humor, he touched the lives of so many.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he was the son of Maria Isabel (Medeiros) Santos and the late Antonio Santos.
Tony spent his career working as a landscaper. Prior to that, he worked at the Stop & Shop distribution center in Freetown. He was a big fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He loved the simple things in life. Spending time outdoors taking walks and keeping an eye out for interesting bugs and creatures. He had a natural curiosity about the world and loved nothing more than relaxing with classic tv shows and learning about history and trivia. But what he loved the most was spending time with his kids.
He is survived by his two children, Victoria and Aidan Santos; his former wife, Melissa Vasconcelos; his siblings, Patricia Montalbo and her husband Tony, David Santos, Sofia Santos, and Stephanie Santos; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Leite.
His visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Oliveira Funeral Home, South Main Street Chapel, 2064 South Main Street, Fall River.
His funeral will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, beginning at 8:30AM at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30AM at Espirito Santo Church. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
May Tony Medeiros Santos rest comfortably for eternity, and may he be remembered by all those he brightened along the way.
