Antonio Arruda

FALL RIVER… Antonio Arruda, 84, of Fall River passed away March 18, 2022 at St. Anne’s Hospital, in Fall River.

He was the loving husband of Isabel (Costa) Arruda.

Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late John Arruda and Maria Costa Arruda.

Prior to retiring, Antonio worked as a weaver at the former Quaker Fabrics in Fall River. He was a parishioner of Santo Christo Church and enjoyed yardwork and carpentry, in his free time.

Along with his wife, survivors include his sisters Eva and Amy, and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Robert Arruda and brother of the late John, Joe, Mary, and Alice.

A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, March 22 2022, at 10AM at Santo Christo Church, Columbia St., Fall River. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
