Cathleen F. (Lacombe) Medeiros

Cathleen F. Medeiros, a resident of Westport, passed away on April 18th, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Ronald Medeiros also of Westport.

    Born at the Newport Navy Base, Cathleen was the daughter of the late Joseph H. Lacombe and Dorothy Jean Roberts. She grew up to become a strong-willed and determined woman, known for her stubbornness and hard-headed nature. Cathleen was also a hard worker, spending most of her career employed as a Quality Control Specialist before her retirement.

    Cathleen will always be remembered as a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, neighbor, and dog lover. She had a zest for life and a dedication to her loved ones that was unmatched. She loved salt and vinegar chips, her dedication to coffee consumption, and her obsession with soap operas. 

    She is survived by her son Jeff Levesque, her daughter-in law Brandice Levesque, her grandsons: Jeffrey A Levesque II, Hunter Levesque, and Jayden Levesque, her brother Joseph Lacombe (wife Marilou Lacombe), her stepdaughter Kristine Medeiros, her stepsons Ronnie Medeiros and Bobby Medeiros, her nieces Jodi Mroz and Shanelle Lacombe, her nephew Joseph P. Lacombe, several second generation nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her niece Dawn LA. Lacombe.

    Her funeral services will be private.
