Obituary

Normand R. Dube, 84, of Fall River, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023, at St. Anne’s Hospital, in Fall River.

    He was a loving and giving man who contributed to many charities throughout his life. He was a devoted Catholic and loved Jesus with all his heart and soul.

    Normand worked as a cook in his younger days at Jack’s Restaurant, in Mansfield, and was told he made the best spaghetti and meatballs and clam chowder in town. He went on to work as a spinner at Lightolier (formerly Aluminum Processing) in the industrial park for 3 decades, before his retirement.

    He leaves behind his 3 daughters: Lynn Stanton and Donna Dube, of Key West, Florida, and Christine Soares, of Fall River; 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and his best friend George Beaudry, of Fall River.

    A visitation will be held Friday, March 3, 2023 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM from Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St. Fall River, MA 02721, followed by a service in the funeral home at 8:00 PM.
