Roger R. Chasse

WESTPORT… Roger R. Chasse, 79, of Westport passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023, at his home.

He was the widower of Evelyn (Petrasso) Chasse.

Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Laurie Chasse and Jeannette (Paquette) Chasse.

Prior to retiring, Roger worked for the majority of his career at General Motors. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cookouts and spending time with his dogs. Most of all, he enjoyed the time he spent with his family.

Survivors include his sons: Robert Chasse (Lorraine), of Somerset, Michael Chasse, of Westport, and Kevin Chasse (Merri-Jane), of Ravenel, South Carolina; his brother Paul Chasse, of Fall River; his grandchildren: Robert, Jr., Crystal, Sean, Kyle, Tiffany, Hailey, Nicholas, Sheila, Courtney, Caitlyn, and Brooke; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Roger R. Chasse, Jr.

Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, April 17, 2023 at 10:00 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St. Fall River, MA 02724, followed by a Funeral Mass, at 11:00 AM, at Our Lady of Grace Church in Westport. Calling hours will be held Sunday night from 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
