Ronald M. Soares, Sr.

Ronald M. Soares, Sr., 82, of Fall River, passed away January 9, 2024, at Charlton Memorial Hospital, in Fall River.

He was the longtime loving partner of Beverly Mello.

Born in Fall River, Ronald was the son of the late John M. Soares and Dorothy (Pimental) Soares.

Prior to retiring, Ronald worked installing window tints, for automotive and building windows, installing automotive accessories, and was a United States Army Veteran. He also worked for Richie’s Gun Shop, in Westport. He enjoyed playing pool, in the VFW Pool League, fishing and hunting.

Along with his longtime partner, he is survived by his children Joanne Soares, Heath Soares, and Robert Soares; his sister Carol Medeiros, his grandchildren: Amanda, Kyle, Michael, David, Aaron, Dylan, and Tyler; his great grandchildren: Natalie and Emelia; his nephews Mark and Carl; Beverly’s son Ryan Mello and grandson Jaxson Mello. He was the father of the late Ronald Soares, Jr. and John Soares.

His funeral services will be private.
