Wayne A. Correia

FALL RIVER… It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished son, brother, and friend Wayne Arthur Correia at the age of 51.

Wayne is survived by his beloved son Dylan Wayne Correia and his former spouse Lisa Correia. There is no one in the world he loved, adored, or was more proud of than his son.

Wayne is also survived by his parents: Mary Grace and Arthur Correia; Sisters: Christine (Richard) Conlon and Karen (John) Bentz; Nieces: Catherine and Kristen; Nephews:  Ryan, Craig, and John; Great Nieces: Hayle, Hudson, and Mylah; Great nephews: Jaydon and Gavyn; and many other loving family members and friends.

Wayne was a Dallas Cowboys fanatic. He enjoyed watching and playing sports and coaching his son’s Maplewood little league team. Everyone who knew Wayne knew he was always ready with a joke or a wise crack, but most of all he was always ready with a helping hand. He loved spending time by the pool with his son, nieces, and nephews and hanging out with his family and friends.

Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, July 8, 2019 at 10:30 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main Street, Fall River, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Good Shepherd Parish, South Main Street, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Monday morning from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM, prior to the funeral. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you spend time with your family and friends. Cherish every moment you have with them.  That’s what Wayne would have wanted.
