Lucille B. (Rodrigues) Aguiar

FALL RIVER… Lucille B. (Rodrigues) Aguiar, 89, of Fall River, died Friday, July 8, 2022 at Fall River Health Care.

Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Bento Rodrigues and Josephine M. (Carreira) Rodrigues.

Prior to retiring, Lucille was employed as a retail sales clerk, for many years, at Kmart in Fall River. She enjoyed her trips to the casino and, most of all, spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children: Patrick Aguiar (wife Lark Roderigues), of Portsmouth, RI, Laurie Ann Kalaf (husband Charles), of Fall River, and Brian Aguiar (wife Catherine), of Tiverton, RI; her sister Ruth Palmer, of Punta Gorda, FL; her grandchildren: Patrick, Derek, Sean, Lauren, Jonathan, and Kaila; her great-grandchildren: Korbin, Kesler, Dashiell, and Desmond; several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Henry J. Aguiar, Jr. and sister of the late William, Raymond, Phyllis, Eleanor, Theresa, and James.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, July 14, at 9:00 AM, from the Oliveira Funeral Home - South Main St Chapel, 2064 South Main St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM at Good Shepherd Parish, South Main St., Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Wednesday night, from 6 – 8 PM.
